These Queen's Sceptres Spindles are named after the 6 Queens that were wives of Henry VIII.
They are, Left to Right, Anne Boleyn which is Redwood Burl with Bloodwood shaft, Anne of Cleves
which is Redwood Burl with Paduk shaft, Catherine of Aragon which is Pompelle Bubinga with
Purpleheart shaft, Jane Seymour is Purpleheart with a Blackwood shaft, Katherine Howard which is
Tulipwood with a Bloodwood shaft, and Katherine Parr which is Osage Orange with a Canarywood
shaft. They have a 2 1/2 inch whorl on a 9" shaft and weigh 1-1.4 ounces each depending on wood.

Bare bones spindles are made of
solid Maple and rim weighted for long
spin. This is a perfect spindle for a
beginner or expert. This spindle has a
2 1/2 inch whorl with a 10" shaft and
weighs from 1.4-1.7 ounces.

Tom Foolery Spindles are made of laminated
exotic woods. They have a 2 1/2 inch whorl and a
9-10 inch shaft and weigh from 1.3 to 1.8 oz. Each
wood choice shows the two woods that make up
these beautiful spindles.

The McKenna Lee Spindle is
made in many exotic woods. It
has a 1.5in whorl with a 7-8
inch shaft. This spindle weighs
.4 to .7 ounces for luxury fiber
spinning.

The Vixen Spindle is a beautiful way
to spin luxury fibers. These spindles
have a 1.5-2 inch whorl and weigh .3 to
.7 ounces and come in a variety of
exotic woods

The Loki spindle is an ancient shaped
spindle made of Masur Birch with a laminate
of exotic wood or exotic woods with many
wood choices. It has a 1.5 to 2.25in whorl
with an 8-9in shaft, weight .8 to 1.5 ounces.

The Apprentice Spindle is available in Cherry or
Walnut. It's a hardworking affordable spindle with a
2.5in whorl, 10" shaft with a midrange weight of
1.3-1.7 oz. The Lionheart is the same spindle
made in exotic woods.

The Stasis Pup Spindle is made of
exotic woods and is the essence of
rim weighted simplicity. It has a 3"
whorl, 8" shaft, and weighs 1-1.3
ounces.

The Lady Barbara Spindle is made from
laminates of exotic woods, or solid exotic woods.
This spindle has a 2" whorl, and 8 to 9" shaft,
and weighs a petite .4 to .7 oz.

The Hound and the Fox Spindles are
designed with the simplicity of the lines in
the whorl allowing the beautiful woods to
come out. The Hound is the bigger with a
3in whorl, 10-11in shaft and weight of
1.5-2oz, and the fox is smaller with a 2.5in
whorl, 9-10in whorl, and weight of 1-1.4 oz

The Kelly Spindle comes in two whorl
sizes. The 3" whorl has a 10" shaft
and weighs 1.4-1.8 oz, while the 2.5"
whorl has a 9" shaft and weighs 1 to
1.4 ounces.

The Mastiff Spindle is
fashioned out of Pomelle
Bubinga. It has a whorl
diameter of 2.5in, and a shaft
of 9-10inches. This spindle
weighs from 1.3-1.8 ounces.

The Mjolinar Spindle is made from the
finest Masur Birch which is only grown in
Finland. This beauty has a 4 in whorl and
a 12 inch shaft, and weighs 1.5 to 1.9
ounces. It has long spin and the long
shaft allows you to spin quite a bit of fiber
before emptying or plying.

The Katherine's Cup Spindles come in
three sizes and a variety of exotic woods.
The 3" has a 10/11" shaft and weighs
1.6-2.2 oz, the 2.5" has a 9/10" shaft
weighing 1.4-1.8oz, the 2" has a 8/9"
shaft, weighing .9 to 1.3 ounces.

These handmade Wrist Distaffs
are wonderful for spindlers! They
have a built in Yarn Wrap gauge and
hold your fiber for you while you
spindle. They are made in all the
exotic woods.

Butcher's Crowns are made of the same
woods as the spindles, and protect the top
of the shaft as well as the hooks of your
